Melissa and Stephen - Ancaster Mill, Hamilton
Melissa contacted us needing a cupcake tower, but not just any cupcake tower, she wanted something beautiful, fun and different! In a sea of wedding trends she wanted something unique and personal. We proposed doing a cupcake tower mixing minis and regular sized cupcakes with fresh florals in her colour palette of blush, burgundy and greenery.
Her venue was the Ancaster Mill - Governors Room. A stunning venue on its own - we knew whatever we created had to live up to the beauty of this venue.
We decided to differentiate each flavour by piping each cupcake in a different design. This creates texture and dimension to a tower of 8 dozen cupcakes and provides a visual interest in the design. We picked up beautiful fresh florals from The Flower Market and used the extra florals throughout the tower, to again add more texture and dimension and set it apart.
A few weeks later we received an email from The Wedding Ring notifying us we had a new publications on their website. We did not even know that Anne Edgar had submitted her gorgeous photos, so this was a pleasant surprise!
