Do you offer nut/dairy/gluten/egg free cakes?

We take allergies very seriously. We do offer vegan or egg and dairy friendly recipes where we can omit/substitute eggs and/or dairy in a recipe (soy or almond milk can be substituted). This is perfect for people with dietary preferences. We do however bake in a shared commercial kitchen and cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination. This is especially important for gluten-free cakes and as such we cannot offer gluten-free items.

Our products on occasion contain nuts or nut products, as well as baking in a shared commercial kitchen space we cannot guarantee you a nut free product.

How many flavours can I choose?

You can choose 1 flavour per tier of cake. For cupcakes, it is a minimum 1 flavour per dozen. If you wish to split the dozen cupcakes into 2 flavours it is an extra $10. Mini cupcakes are 1 flavour per 2 dozen.

Do you offer Delivery?

Yes! We recommend that we deliver all tiered cakes due to their stacked nature. Please note if you elect to pick up your cake, once it leaves our possession we are not liable or responsible for it. Delivery fees are based on destination location, date and time of the event. We can give you a quote along with your order.

Payments

In order to reserve your order, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. As we take a limited number of orders per week, this reserves your order and date. Your order is not confirmed until the non-refundable deposit is received. 

Final payments for wedding cake orders are due 2 weeks (14 days) before the event. If we do not receive your final payment by the agreed upon due date, your order may be cancelled without deposit refund.

For celebration cakes, payment is due upon pickup/delivery. 

Due to our full schedule and custom nature of the products, refunds are not offered. If the event is rescheduled with a minimum of 1 weeks notice, your depost can be transferred to the new date, subject to availability, and expires within three months of the original date.

Outdoor Events

Any dessert items placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or changing form due to weather conditions (such as, but not limited to, heat, wind, rain, and humidity). We are not liable for a cake/cupcakes once it has been delivered or picked up.

Serving Sizes

We make all of our cakes to a higher than normal height of 4.5" - 5" tall. This ensures a taller more sleek look to the cake as well as a taller slice of cake. Our pieces are 1" x 2" and designed to serve the number of people requested upon ordering. If larger slices of cake are served, and the serving numbers decreased, we are not responsible for providing additional cake. 

We always provide venues with accurate instructions (such as cutting, storage, serving temperature) and trust that they will follow these guidelines. This is especially important for fillings that require refrigeration (ex. cream cheese). If however, they do not follow these guidelines, we are not responsible for their error. Please be sure to discuss these specifications with your wedding venue consultant as well. 

Rentals

Cake stand/cupcake stands and all other rentals must be returned within two business days of the event conclusion. Customer agrees to pay full replacement fee if these are not returned on time and/or are returned damaged (not in the condition they were given). A deposit based on the item value must be paid two weeks prior to your order, which is fully refunded upon the return of all on-time and undamaged rentals.

Artistic License Disclaimer

Every cake is handmade and is subject to artistic interpretation. You may provide us with photographic inspiration for your order. We reserve the right to make minor changes to the design at any point in the process in order to benefit the aesthetic, as seen fit by our cake decorators.

Colour Matching

We make every effort to match your colours. However, to get as close as possible, please provide us with a colour swatch. Also, food-grade dyes may sometimes be difficult/impossible to match. Darker colours have a tendency to darken further with time, humidity, and heat. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a perfect colour match.

Client-Supplied Accessories

Fabrics, stands, signage, and any other accessories provided by the client that we are to add to the order must be brought to us a minimum of one week prior to the order due date.

Photographs

We photograph our cakes and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotional uses without client compensation or permission.
